Miele dishwasher repair for Toronto homes, condos and rental units
We fix Miele dishwashers that show error codes, won’t heat, won’t drain, leak or don’t clean well. Common repairs include heater relays, heaters, drain pumps, inlet valves, door seals and control faults, on current models and older Futura and Futura Crystal dishwashers.
A dishwasher leak in a Toronto kitchen can damage flooring, baseboards, cabinet panels, condo units below, and surrounding finishes. Booking service early helps prevent a small dishwasher problem from becoming a larger property damage issue.
Common Miele dishwasher problems we fix in Toronto
We repair Miele built-in dishwashers, from current models to older Futura and Futura Crystal units, in houses, condos and rental units across Toronto. These are the problems we see most often:
A heating fault. Most often the heater relay on the control has failed; the heater or its wiring can also be the cause. We test the circuit to find which part failed.
Usually a blocked filter combination, a jammed drain pump or a stuck check valve. We clear or replace what’s causing it.
Miele’s leak protection stops the machine when water reaches the base. We find the actual leak (seal, hose or pump) before resetting it.
A faulty inlet valve, a blocked inlet filter or a water supply problem under the sink.
Clogged spray arms, a dirty filter, a weak circulation pump or detergent not dispensing.
Often linked to heating: a failed heater or relay means no hot final rinse, so dishes don’t dry.
Miele dishwasher error E24 in Downtown Toronto: heater relay replaced
The problem: This Miele Futura Crystal dishwasher in Downtown Toronto stopped mid-cycle and showed error E24 on the display.
The cause: E24 points to the heating circuit. The relay that switches the water heater on and off had failed, so the dishwasher couldn’t heat the water.
What we did:
- Pulled the dishwasher out of the cabinet and opened the base
- Tested the heating circuit and confirmed the failed heater relay
- Replaced the heater relay
- Reinstalled the dishwasher and ran a full test cycle
Result: The dishwasher heats and washes normally again, and the customer was happy.
Tip: A Miele that shows an error code is usually well worth repairing. Write down the exact code and have it checked before replacing a quality German dishwasher.

- Clean the filter combination at the bottom of the tub and check that the water tap under the sink is fully open.
- Switch the dishwasher off at the breaker for a minute, then try a short program.
- If water is sitting in the base or the Waterproof leak protection has tripped, don’t keep restarting it.

Miele dishwasher repair FAQ
What does error E24 mean on a Miele dishwasher?
E24 (F24 on some models) is a heating fault: the dishwasher can’t heat the water. Most often the heater relay on the control has failed; the heater or its wiring can also be the cause. A technician tests the circuit to find which part failed.
Is it worth repairing a Miele dishwasher?
Usually yes. Miele dishwashers are built to last, and faults like a heater relay, drain pump or inlet valve cost far less to fix than a new built-in dishwasher. We tell you honestly if a repair isn’t worth it.
Do you repair older Miele models like the Futura Crystal?
Yes. We repair current and older Miele dishwashers, including Futura and Futura Crystal models, across Toronto.
Do you give a quote before starting the repair?
Yes. We diagnose the problem first and give you the price before we start. The $85 service call is waived when you go ahead with the repair, and repairs come with a 1-year warranty.
