8. Service Call Fees Policy

• By requesting the service customers authorize the service call to be performed at a price quoted and understand that the service call and deposit (if applicable) are not refundable.
• Service call fees are not refundable
• Labor fees are not refundable
• The service call is 85 + HST.

9. Parts Policy

• Octopus Royal Appliances services technicians will always do their best to leave their workplace as clean as before. The customer understands that some jobs require moving appliances around, and by Ordering the service Customer acknowledges that Octopus Royal Appliances services and its technicians will not be held liable for damage done to floors, walls, etc.
• Octopus Royal Appliances services will guarantee only the parts which were replaced or repaired and only for the number of days stated on the invoice. No other parts of the appliance will be included in the warranty. If the repair was completed without replacing a part, the amount that was paid could not be refunded. Electronics parts that were ordered or install via Octopus Royal Appliances services cannot be return or refund, and by canceling the order or the installation, the customer acknowledges that they will have to pay the full amount for the parts that were order or install.
• Consequential damages, incidental expenses, including water damages and food spoilage, are not covered. Warranty is not transferable. Payment terms are due upon receipt of invoice.

10. Governing Law

Any claim relating to Octopus Royal Appliances services web site shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario without regard to its conflict of law provisions. General Terms and Conditions are applicable to Use of a Web Site.

11. Cancelation policy

In case you need to cancel your appointment with Octopus Royal Appliances services, please make sure to cancel your appointment 24 hours before the scheduled date/time.

If you call to cancel during non-business hours, please leave a detailed message (your name and address, and time of scheduled appointment).

If you booked your appointment on the same day, please cancel at least 3 hours before the scheduled appointment.

Please be considerate of our technicians’ time and effort to arrive at your appointment on time. In case you fail to cancel on time (as stated above), we will need to charge the service call cost ( $85+HST) to compensate our technicians.
